Dr. Buedel has been Chief of Staff and partner at Animal Care Center of Plainfield since 2002. Additionally, he is a partner of four other Kremer Veterinary Services clinics. Dr. Buedel particularly enjoys orthopedic surgery and remains committed to advancing and honing his surgical skills through continuing education courses in orthopedics, including an advanced master’s course.
A graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Buedel was valedictorian of the class of 2000. He completed his undergraduate studies in biology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1996. Throughout his career, Dr. Buedel has relished the opportunity to share his passion for veterinary medicine with others. He has appeared on NBC 5, joined Dr. Kremer on his radio show, and delivered talks to school children. In 2008, he started an annual scholarship for Ross University students with financial needs who are attending the University of Illinois for their clinical year.
Outside of work, Dr. Buedel loves spending time with wife Jennifer, their two daughters, and their Australian shepherd mix, Casey. He enjoys traveling, skiing, cheering on his girls in their many activities, and keeping up with Chicago’s local sports teams.
