Dr. John Michael is a managing partner at Animal Care Center Plainfield, Hinsdale Animal Hospital, Animal Care Center Shorewood, and CARE Animal Emergency Services. He has been with Kremer Veterinary Services since 2007.

He received his BS in Animal Science from the University of Illinois in 2003 and his DVM in 2007 from the University of Illinois as well. His primary interests as a veterinarian are small animal medicine and surgery, with a special interest in internal medicine and orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Michael grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and spends his free time attending sporting events, rooting on the Fighting Illini, Bears, Bulls, and White Sox. Dr. Michael is married to a fellow animal lover and John and Shannon share a home with their son Noah, daughter Layla, Titan, a bullmastiff, and 2 cats, Max and Molly, all adopted from HSP.
