Alexis has been working for Animal Care Center of Plainfield since August of 2017. She went to school at the Petsmart Academy for Grooming and graduated in 2014. Alexis’ favorite thing about the veterinary industry is seeing sick animals come in and leaving feeling so much better. She specifically enjoys helping severely matted animals as well as animals who are scared, helping them realize everything is okay! What inspired Alexis to go into the grooming industry is that huge transformation you see on the dogs and cats after their grooming. It gives her a big sense of pride and joy knowing she made that pet feel and look beautiful again.

At home, Alexis has two young cats Mac and Socks. Alexis’ very first child Sophia will be born in September of 2018. In her spare time, she enjoys watching the Chicago Cubs and hanging out with her family preferably outdoors.
